What's Poppin' with PLC?

Today was an awesome PLC day! 100% of my students passed the PLC test for Eng/LA standard 4.6.2 (simple & compound sentences). This is an amazing accomplishment. To celebrate their success, we will be having a popcorn party tomorrow afternoon. Way to go, kids! I'm proud of you.

October PLC Essential Skills

Eng/LA 4.3.6 Determine the theme.
Eng/LA 4.3.3 Use knowledge of the situation, setting, and a character’s traits, motivations, and feelings to determine the causes for that character’s actions.
Eng/LA 4.3.2 Identify the main events of the plot, including their causes and the effects of each event on future actions, and the major theme from the story action.
Eng/LA 4.2.9 Recognize main ideas and supporting details presented in expository (informational texts).
Math 4.3.1 Use letters, boxes, or other symbols to represent any number in simple expressions, equations, or inequalities (i.e., demonstrate an understanding of and the use of the concept
Math 4.5.10 Determine the amount of change from a purchase.
